• Changes in NIC for the self employed from 6 April 2024.

• Cash basis for accounts preparation to move to default cash basis rather than accruals basis in 24/25. From then a business will need to opt out of cash basis if it still wants to use the accruals basis.
• National Living and Minimum Wage increases from 1 April 2024. Changes to the age banding must be noted, and business must budget for the additional cost.
